TYPE 1 DIAMOND FACET DISCS

Type 1 diamond disc applications include performing rough and fine grinding on faceting material plus general lapidary grinding when precision is required. A controlled concentration of diamond bonded onto a precision backing plate ensures consistent grinding and surface finishes. Diamond discs are bonded to a precision ground 3/8" thick backing plate.

DIAMOND TOP PLATES

The perfect tool for the commercial cutter or serious hobbyist. Diamond top plates are easy to apply to backing plates. All diamond top plates come with pressure sensitive high-tack adhesive backing.

 DIAMOND SMOOTHING DISCS

HI TECH Diamond Discs ensure rapid removal of scratches and high sopt on cabochons yet can also smooth large, flat areas in channel inlay work. A high concentration of diamond is loaded into the disc to provide an extremely aggressive grinding rate, yet leave an exceptionally smooth surface finish. HI TECH Diamond Smoothing Discs are guaranteed to out-perform silicon carbide sanding discs and diamond compound finishing systems. Plus, they will not crack or peel. All discs come with pressure sensitive adhesive backing that will bond to most laps, flexible discs and polish heads. Sponge pads may be inserted under diamond smoothing disc to create a soft touch for cabochon work.
