The Hi-Tech Diamond thick notched diamond saw blade is manufactured using premium diamond grit (120#) that is pressed into the edge of a solid steel core. Thick kerfs and stiff cores make these blades suitable for industrial lapidary cutting and slabbing agates, jades and geodes.

All diamond saw blades have 5/8" arbors and come with 1/2" bushings.

Please note: This diamond saw blade must be run with a lubricant such as water or oil. NEVER run dry! We recommend using a good quality cutting oil with this blade. To enhance the performance and lifespan of these blades, abide by the recommended operating speeds and spin-dry your blade after use to prevent any rusting.

Best blade for agate

I love these blades! I cut hundreds of agates each month for my channel @DigDiveDiscover, and this is my go-to blade. It’s long-lasting and performs better than many similar blades I’ve tried, which often cost more than twice the price.

quality

seemed like a durable blade pretty solid i had a 4 pound nodule to cut it made it about half way and now it doesn't cut anymore i used oil coolant didn't put a lot of pressure on it but for some reason it failed

Hardy blade

Thicker with more cutting surface and less wandering. I believe it cuts faster through agates and other hard rocks. I dont mind losing slightly more material due to blade kerf thickness. Will see how it stands up over time. As of now very pleased.

Speeds up cuts

This saw worked well on hard agates like Montana Agate. It seems to cut faster than the sintered saw I use and requires a low pressure against the blade. You can basically let the blade do all the work of drawing in the stone and cutting without any forcing.

Saw blade

Bought for my son who already uses these blades in his rock cutting. He seems to speak highly of the quality and the tolerance of the blade
