The Hi-Tech Diamond black, thick sintered diamond saw blade is manufactured using premium diamond grit (270#/325#) that is secured into a metal bond, extending the full depth of the rim. This blade uses sintered technology, which increases their life span compared to notched rim saw blades because diamonds are continuously exposed as the edge of the blade wears away, cut after cut. Thick kerfs and stiff cores make these blades suitable for industrial lapidary cutting and slabbing agates, geodes, tile and ceramic.

All saw blades have 5/8" arbors and come with 1/2" bushings.

Please note: The 6" and 8" saw blades look different than the 10", yet serve the same purpose. These blades must be run with a lubricant such as water or oil. NEVER run dry! We recommend using a good quality cutting oil with these blades. To enhance the performance and life span of these blades, abide by the recommended operating speeds and spin-dry your blade after use to prevent any rusting.

Where’s my Diamond blade?

Ordered the high end 10” thick sintered diamond stone cutting blade for my lapidary saw. Blade works well, however…. Needed it delivered quickly so paid the extra $11 for rush shipping. Well… over a week goes by and no blade. I could’ve just had them ship it without that extra cost to get it in that amount of time. So, I sent an inquiry to High-Tech to see where my blade is and that I requested a refund for the shipping cost. They basically said, sorry, you should’ve shipped it a different way rather than USPS for the $11.

Now we're talking

This blade made quick work of some hefty agates. Because of its thickness you have to be vigilant about "straight" cuts or the blade will bind and stall blade rotation.

Great Blade

I had been struggling with different blades to cut varsite and jasper. I got the thick sintered diamond and it made quick steady work of all. The kerf is a little wider than I had hoped, but what is needed for the strength and stability this fine blade provides.

Thick sinter blade for geodes

The thick sintered blade is what I needed for sawing through geodes. I noticed that sometimes cutting geodes was much slower with a thin blade. I'd put too much pressure on the blade and the cut track would begin to curve. The thick sinter blade tracks true and the wider blade surface made a smooth cut. Bought two and won't regret the switch.

The blade was great wish the saw had a suitable top and the vice could have been better, feel like what I got in quality, Was worth about half the price I paid
