Acrylic backing plates

My final shipment of ceramic backing plates came in today. They are excellent for the amount of area needed for the grinding and polishing of the stones that I have. So far the are well balanced and easily installed with the Diamond disc and other smoothing disc that I have and they are really not expensive for the average rock hound to have a good inventory of desired grades of polishing disc. Very easy to install on one's flat cabber or the flat all you need lap machines. So when you purchase one of these machines, I suggest that you invest in several more grades of the Electroplated Plated Diamond Disc to go along with all of the Acrylic Backing plates. You never know when you have to change out a complete disc and not have it available.

Affordable and works great. Only thing I would suggest is a notch from arbor to backing plate. Same as the arbor to shaft. Would reduce wear and tear on the backing plate after so many revolutions on the arbor. You put a circle shape inside a circle shape with multiple circular revolutions it will eventually not work sooner then later. Just a heads up engineering team!

These are needed for the extra discs I purchased, very pleased they are affordable.

I started using just 1 backing with the bushing. So much nicer having them on their own backing plate. And the foam pad feels great.
