Hi-Tech Diamond final polishing pads are mess-free polishing pads that are specially designed to put a beautiful mirror polish on stones or glass. Pads are pre-charged with cerium oxide so you don’t need to polish your pieces with messy slurry or diamond paste.

Our final polishing pads are great for polishing various materials, but especially glass, quartz, crystals, ceramics and stones. Use a small amount of water while you work to keep your work piece cool. All final polishing pads come with a 3M pressure sensitive adhesive backing that easily bonds to backing plates.

6"and 8" diameter pads available. Final polishing pads have 1/2" arbor holes.

Didn't get the shine I wanted

I wasn't able to get the shine I wanted with the finishing pad.

I typically use a Cerium Oxide slurry from a bottle and the Hi-Tech polishing pads to get a mirror shine. I just wasn't getting the shine from the finishing pad. I ended up adding the Cerium Oxide slurry to the Finishing Pad and it worked as I wanted. It's nicer than the Polishing Pad as in it doesn't tear apart or stretch with use.

How easy can it be ? Final Polishing Pad with 3M adhesive onto backing plate , Used today for first time , WOW ! brilliant shine / polish with no mess . Be warned - any scratches will be highlighted so make sure you do a 100% job with your Hi Tech Smoothing Disks

Convenient and Neat!

This is so much nicer to use than a polishing pad with cerium oxide slurry applied. A quick and easy plate change, with no additional mess to clean up afterward.
