Saw fence

Works great. Great price. I usually free-hand cuts, but sometimes I want precision cuts and this saw fence helps me do that. I was able to cut 10 identical square slabs in no time. I then skipped the first two shaping wheels on my Cab King to finish this part of the project.

The actual fence part worked well, but as I cut the blade started to curve the cut because the pressure on the fence caused the table to flex slightly away from the saw and I ended up with an uneven cut. Even trying to give very little pressure and feed it slowly still gave a slight thickening in long slabs. So at this point I use it only on the left side of the saw and put a wood shim between the table and the motor to keep it from flexing to the left.

Used one at William Holland School of Lapidary Arts and had to get one for my machine. Works great!

While this fence is quite simple, the one I got was way too tight, as if the plastic molding needs to have a finish step to make sure tolerances are better. The one I received fit so tight that even with the wing nuts completely loose, I had to use considerable force to slide it at all, making it nearly impossible to get an adjustment just right. Also, the pegs that fit into the table top were so tight that simply trying to push them into the holes would flex the top, and even then they still wouldn't go in. I had to use a small mallet to get the fence fully seated, and a screwdriver to wedge it up to change to different holes.
I guess it's better to fit tight rather than too loose, but this one is horrible. Clean up your tolerances, guys!

I purchased the fence but can not get it to fit in the holes in the saw top. When I try to press it in the top starts flexing. I tried taking off the top and pressing it in while supporting the other side but that was also unsuccessful. I have been unable to install the fence to see if it even works.
